A brief history...

I was born in 1989 in Cape Town, South Africa, and have always loved art. I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember, discovering the joy of animation when I started using computers.

My first endeavour was a claymation project which lasted over a year; the result, Santa's Pause, (the less said about this the better...) was my first 'film', and I've been hooked ever since.

Throughout high school I continued to experiment with animation, moving from clay figures to digitally created scenes but still working stopmotion style. For the last while though I've switched to working with Flash and After Effects.

While animation is my biggest interest at the moment, painting will always be my first love. Most of my paintings have been for school but I plan on doing many more, hopefully some time soon...

I started taking photos when I was around 13, it's something I really enjoy and I often carry my camera with me wherever I go (which is mostly to gigs, check out my blog for those pictures). I am a regular photographic contributor to monthly Capetonian music magazine Your LMG and have also been featured in All About Cats Magazine.

Art provides a means of expression and escapism, and that's what I like best...I find inspiration in nature, music, mythology and dreams. I'm also a work-a-holic and like to be constantly busy; so if you'd like to work together, or just want to say hello, please get in touch.
